Insight

Agrovigor: Jurnal Agroekoteknologi is a media for the publication of scientific articles related to agricultural science/agroecotechnology, which includes: plant science (plant cultivation and breeding), soil science, as well as pests and plant diseases. Articles can be published in English. The manuscript can be in the form of the latest research results (no later than 5 years ago), a brief review (review), policy analysis, or short research notes (research notes) on experimental techniques, tools, observations, and preliminary results trial (preliminary results).

Submission of the manuscript

Agrovigor: Agroecotechnology journal has used the "Open Journal System (OJS)" system so that the writer can upload the manuscript through the page http://journal.trunojoyo.ac.id/agrovigor. Manuscripts received are manuscripts that have never been published or are not in the process of publication in other national and international scientific journals to avoid double publication.

Manuscript format

The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English. In order for a manuscript to be published, the author is expected to follow a predetermined format. Manuscripts including Abstracts are typed double-spaced on A4 size paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with a 3 cm border, Times New Roman letters measuring 12 points. The script is typed in with the Microsoft Word (.docx) program. Each page is numbered sequentially, a maximum of 18 pages including tables and figures. Tables and figures are presented in text (do not need to be separated).

Arrangement of manuscripts

The first page of the manuscript consists of:

  1. Title
  2. The full name of the author (put * on the author for correspondence)
  3. Author's address and affiliation (including telephone number, faximile number, and author's e-mail address for correspondence)

The second page consists of the title, abstract, and keywords. The name and identity of the author may not be written on the second page. The next page consists of: preliminary Material and Method Results and Discussion Conclusion Acknowledgments (if any) References Manuscripts in the form of reviews, policy analyzes, and research notes do not have to be written according to the composition of the research paper. Provisions for manuscripts in the form of research notes are a maximum of 5 pages including tables and figures. The introduction and method are written briefly and without abstracts. Description of each part of the manuscript Title page The title is bold in capital letters at the beginning of each word, except for conjunctions, including: and, which are, for, in, to, from, to, as, but, based on, in, between, though, in terms of. The maximum title consists of 12 words (not including conjunctions). The title must reflect the results of the research (efforts should not be preceded by the words influence, study, study, analysis, evaluation). Manuscripts in Indonesian must be accompanied by titles in English in bold and italic type. Under the title, write the full names (not abbreviated) of all authors along with the names and addresses of the authors' affiliated institutions. The author's name for the correspondence is marked *. Addresses for correspondence include zip codes, telephone, and mobile numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail.

Abstract and Keywords

The second page consists of title, abstract (abstract), and keywords (keywords). The author's identity may not be included on this page. Provisions regarding abstracts and keywords are: Paragraphs can be independent and must include a brief introduction, objectives, methods, results, and main conclusions in a concise manner. Implications of research results should also be listed in the abstract. There are no library citations in the abstract. Abstract written in English and Indonesian. Abstracts in each language consist of one paragraph, a maximum of 250 words, and type in two spaces Keywords are written after abstract, maximum of 5 words apart from words in the title and arranged in alphabetical order.

Text

The beginning of the paragraph starts with a tab from the left side of the text. Writing subtitles (INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, ACKNOWLEDGMENTS, and REFERENCES) are written in the middle with capital letters and do not use numbers. Subtitles are written on the left side of the page in italics and capital letters at the beginning of each word. The name of the organism must be followed by its full scientific name in the first disclosure. The scientific name is italicized, while the author's name is from the scientific name and words such as var. written upright. Example: Elaeis guineensis Jacq. The abbreviation is first written in parentheses after the abbreviated words. Unit writing uses International Standards (SI). Negative exponents are used to denoting the denominator for example mg L-1, not mg / L. The unit is written using a space after the number, except for expressing percent for example 37 oC, not 37oC; 0.8%, not 0.8 %. Decimal writing uses commas (Indonesian) and or periods (for English / abstract), while thousands are separated by periods. All tables and figures must be referred to in the text.

References

Provisions for the library as a reference are: Literature sources (journals, patents, dissertations, theses, proceedings, and textbooks) that are current (at least 80% of libraries written in the last 10 years) Proportion of primary/journal referral sources of at least 80% Limiting the number of libraries that refer to oneself (self-citation) We recommend that you avoid using libraries in libraries, popular books, and libraries from the internet that can be used is journals and libraries from government or private agencies Papers presented at a seminar or symposium but not published in a proceeding or other scientific publication media are not allowed as a reference Abstracts are not allowed as references Reference Bibliography is written in alphabetical order. Table

Tables included in the text. Tables must be written in table format from Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) and submitted in a separate file from the script. The table has a maximum width of 166 mm. The table numbering is made sequentially. The title of the table is written briefly but completely. The title and head of the table use capital letters at the beginning of the sentence. Vertical lines are not used. Footnotes use numbers with closing brackets and typed superscript. The * or ** sign is used to indicate the real rates at 5% and 1% respectively. If another real level is used, use additional symbols.

Picture

All images must be referred to in the text. Images and illustrations must use high resolution and good contrast in JPEG, PDF, or TIFF format. The minimum resolution for photos is 300 dpi (dots per inch), while for graphics and line art is 600 dpi. Black and white images must be created in grayscale mode, while color images are in RGB mode. Images made with a maximum width of 80 mm (one column), 125 mm (one-half column), or 166 mm (two columns). Images are also uploaded/sent in a separate file from the manuscript with clear numbers, titles, and descriptions on each image. Image recommended black and white; if you want to include a color image will be subject to additional printing costs to the author. The description in the picture must be clear. If the image size is reduced then all writing must be legible. Statistical charts are accompanied by source data files (Microsoft Excel program) for easy editing.

Publication Procedure

The author(s) required to fills out and signs the statement form that the manuscript has never been or is not being submitted for publication in another journal. Examples of forms can be seen on the back page of the Agrovigor Journal print edition or can also be downloaded from the page http://journal.trunojoyo.ac.id/agrovigor. All texts received will be sent to the Editor's Board for evaluation. The Editorial Board has the right to ask the author to make improvements before the manuscript is sent to reviewers. The editor also has the right to reject the manuscript if the manuscript does not fit into the specified format. The manuscript will be reviewed by a minimum of two experts in the field concerned. The Editor Board will determine the manuscript that can be published based on the results of the review. The results of the review are notified to the author.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF, LATEX or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point Times New Roman font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
