Nak-Kanak: Journal of Child Research is an academic journal that focuses on child development with a local cultural approach. In this journal, theories and practices of child development can be integrated with local culture as a critical reflection on cultural preservation. The vision of this journal is to explore, understand, and develop the processes involved in local culture and child development science. This journal includes:

  1. Moral, religious, social-emotional, and cognitive development based on cultural values,
  2. Language, artistic, creative, and physical motor development through local traditions,
  3. Parenting and early childhood education management in the context of local wisdom,
  4. Learning strategies, media, and educational play tools rooted in culture,
  5. Child development assessment and psychology considering socio-cultural factors,
  6. Innovations in early childhood education that integrate cultural heritage.
