Nak-Kanak: Journal of Child Research

Nak-Kanak: Journal of Child Research invites you to contribute to a growing academic movement that explores child development through the richness of local culture. As a peer-reviewed journal, we aim to bridge developmental science with indigenous knowledge, offering a unique platform for scholarly work that values cultural identity, tradition, and innovation in early childhood studies.

We welcome high-quality manuscripts on topics such as:

  • Moral, religious, social-emotional, and cognitive development based on cultural values

  • Language, creativity, and physical-motor development through traditional practices

  • Parenting and early childhood education management informed by local wisdom
