We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are reaching out on behalf of Nak-Kanak: Journal of Child Research, published by Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, Indonesia. Our journal is currently indexed in Google Scholar, Dimensions, and Crossref. We are also pleased to inform you that Nak-Kanak is in the process of applying for Scopus indexing, which is scheduled for 2025.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to contribute as an author to our upcoming publications in the November 2025, February 2026, and May 2026 editions. After reviewing your remarkable scholarly work, we are confident that your expertise aligns well with the vision and scope of our journal.
Aims and Scope:
Nak-Kanak: Journal of Child Research is an academic journal that focuses on child development with a local cultural approach. In this journal, theories and practices of child development can be integrated with local culture as a critical reflection on cultural preservation. The vision of this journal is to explore, understand, and develop the processes involved in local culture and child development science. This journal includes:
Moral, religious, social-emotional, and cognitive development based on cultural values;
Language, artistic, creative, and physical motor development through local traditions;
Parenting and early childhood education management in the context of local wisdom;
Learning strategies, media, and educational play tools rooted in culture;
Child development assessment and psychology considering socio-cultural factors;
Innovations in early childhood education that integrate cultural heritage.
