Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Geometri Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstract



Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan anak umur 5-6 tahun untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal geometri, menghasilkan model pembelajaran project based learning yang layak untuk pengenalan kemampuan geometri anak usia 5-6 tahun, mengungkapkan efektifitas model yang dihasilkan terhadap kemampuan geometri anak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian research and development (R&D) yang menggunakan model Borg & Gall. Dalam penelitian ini, 220 anak dan 22 guru dari tujuh sekolah berpartisipasi. Wawancara, angket, dan observasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Deskriptif kualitatif, konversi data dan paired sample t-test digunakan dalam analisis data. Hasil penelitiannya ialah dibutuhkan model project based learning yang dilengkapi dengan materi indikator pencapaian dan kesiapan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal geometri anak. Model yang dihasilkan ialah pengembangan pada sintaks, sistem sosial, peran anak, dan sistem pendukung yang diperoleh melalui proses validasi dan uji coba lapangan. Keefektifan model terllihat dari hasil uji paired t-test anak dengan hasil signifikansi <0,005.
