Widyagogik is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publication. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Every submitted manuscript will undergo a similarity check using plagiarism detection software. The overall similarity index must not exceed 25%, excluding references and commonly used phrases. Manuscripts that exceed this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at the discretion of the editorial board.
Widyagogik strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism, including:
- Direct plagiarism: copying sentences or passages exactly as they appear in another source without quotation marks or proper acknowledgment of the original author.
- Self-plagiarism: republishing or reusing parts of one’s own previously published work, including text, data, or ideas, without clearly citing the earlier publication.
- Mosaic plagiarism: taking expressions, ideas, or writing patterns from a source and integrating them into one’s own text without adequate attribution.
- Improper citation of sources: failing to provide accurate references, citing sources incorrectly, or using another author’s ideas, information, or data without proper credit.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources of information, ideas, data, and quotations are properly cited and referenced according to the journal’s citation style.
If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and notify the authors’ affiliated institutions if necessary.
