Abstract

Makalah ini menyajikan proses perancangan Sistem Manajemen Gudang (WMS) aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk e-media pembelajaran didasarkan pada studi simulasi untuk subjek Manajemen Gudang. Studi tentang WMS masih memiliki beberapa masalah, salah satu masalah adalah media simulasi tidak untuk WMS. Bahwa, belajar berdasarkan simulasi adalah lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan slide statis. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini kita akan merancang sebuah aplikasi WMS yang dapat digunakan untuk e-media pembelajaran dalam mempelajari subjek Manajemen Gudang berdasarkan layanan web. Untuk membuat aplikasi kita cocok untuk digunakan sebagai e-media pembelajaran dalam penelitian logistik, kami menerapkan beberapa metode Masalah berbasis Belajar berdasarkan masalah nyata terjadi di gudang. Untuk desain aplikasi ini, kita menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) sebagai alat untuk merancang Aplikasi Berorientasi Objek. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model aplikasi, aplikasi database dan aplikasi antarmuka. Hasil ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pendekatan pedagogis dalam belajar terutama dalam subjek Logistik Manajemen Gudang.

Kata kunci: sistem manajemen Gudang, E-media pembelajaran, Web Service, UML, Aplikasi Berorientasi Objek, Simulasi Berbasis.

Abstract

This paper presents the designing process of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) application that can be used for e- learning media based on simulation study for Warehouse Management subject. The study about WMS are still have some problems, one of the problem is no simulation media for WMS. Whereas, studying based on simulation is a more effective as compared with using the static slides. Therefore, in this research we will design a WMS application that can be used for e- learning media in studying Warehouse Management subject based on web service. To make our application suitable for used as an e- learning media in logistic study, we are applying some Problems- based Learning method based on the real problems happen in warehouse. To design this application, we use Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a tool for designing an Object Oriented Application. The results of this research are application's model, application's database and application's interface. This results can be used to improve the pedagogic approach in learning Logistic especially in Warehouse Management subject.
