Keterkaitan Sosial Dan Politik Terhadap Efisiensi Pariwisata Di Asean
Abstract
Penelitian ini mencoba menggali lebih jauh adakah keterlibatan yang signifikan yang turut serta dalam mempengaruhi perkembangan dan kemajuan sektor pariwisata. Pemilihan aspek sosial politik di dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan beberapa hasil temuan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa ada keterlibatan stabilitas sosial dan politik dalam menciptakan pertumbuhan dan stabilitas ekonomi, dimana salah satu variabel yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dari sektor pariwisata. Berangkat dari hasil temuan dan teori telah disebutkan di atas, maka penelitian ini mencoba mengidentifikasi, mendeteksi dan mengestimasi adakah keterlibatan dan pengaruh signifikan sosial politik dalam menciptakan efisiensi pariwisata khususnya di ASEAN?. Pengukuran efisiensi menggunakan metode Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa ebagian besar variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan dari variabel sosial dan politik terhadap pariwisata khususnya jumlah kunjungan wisatawan asing di ASEAN. Pengaruh aspek sosial dan politik terhadap kedatangan turis asing ke ASEAN membuktikan bahwa peranan sosial dan politik menjadi penting di era sekarang ini. Nilai efisiensi menunjukkan inefisiensi yang sangat tinggi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa inefisiensi pariwisata juga banyak dipengaruhi oleh aspek politik dan sosial di kawasan ASEAN. Pengaruh stabilitas politik dan hukum akan mempengaruhi ketertarikan dan kunjungan wisatawan asing, karena mereka mempertimbangkan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan pelayanan hukum yang baik selama berada di daerah tujuan wisata mereka.
