Widyagogik: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, East Java, Indonesia. The journal serves as a scholarly forum for researchers, academics, teachers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate research findings and theoretical studies in the field of elementary education.
The journal focuses on educational practices and issues occurring in elementary school settings, with special attention to the exploration of the uniqueness of elementary school conditions. Widyagogik encourages research that examines how primary schools respond to diverse cultural, social, and regional contexts. This includes studies on the integration of local culture and local wisdom into the school curriculum, culturally responsive pedagogy, thematic and character-based learning rooted in community values, curriculum adaptation to local needs, and innovative teaching strategies suited to rural, coastal, urban, or culturally distinctive environments. By emphasizing contextualized educational practices, the journal promotes developmentally appropriate and socially responsive models of elementary education.
