‘URF ISLAM NUSANTARA (Telaah Kritis Putusan Bahtsul Masail PWNU Jatim di Malang Tahun 2016)

Abstract

This paper tries to analyze about 'Urf Islam Nusantara as stated in Bahsul Masail PW NU which was held in Malang in the year 2016. Urf is a custom which includes methods in the istinbat of Islamic law. The emergence of the term pioneered ushul fiqh scholars though practically since the time of the Prophet already exists and continued simultaneously by the companions, tabiin, and tabiit tabiin. The term Islam Nusantara is actually not new. This term refers to Islam in the archipelago or the maritime (archipelago) cluster that encompasses not only the present-day Indonesia, but also the Muslim regions of Malaysia, Southern Thailand (Patani), Singapore, the Southern Philippines (Moro), and also Champa (kampuchea ). But within certain limits have its own distinction. But the term found the peak momentum during the congress in Jombang. Urf Islam has four approaches that become the most important pillar of Islamic Nusantara development. Adaptation, Neutralization, Minimization, and Amputation. The concept is like a sequential hierarchy to make it easier to see the habits that have been done in Indonesia contrary to or not with shari'ah. The term is adopted from the theory of sociology.

Tulisan ini mencoba menganalisa tentang „Urf Islam Nusantara yang tertuang dalam Bahsul Masail PW NU yang digelar di Malang pada Tahun 2016.
Urf adalah kebiasaan yang termasuk metode dalam istinbat hukum Islam. Kemunculan istilah tersebut dipelopori ulama ushul fiqh meski secara praktik sejak zaman Rasulullah sudah ada dan dilanjutkan secara simultan oleh para sahabat, tabiin, dan tabiit tabiin.
Istilah Islam Nusantara sejatinya bukanlah hal baru. Istilah ini mengacu pada Islam di gugusan kepulauan atau benua maritim (nusantara) yang mencakup tidak hanya kawasan yang sekarang menjadi negara Indonesia, tetapi juga wilayah Muslim Malaysia, Thailand Selatan (Patani), Singapura, Filipina Selatan (Moro), dan juga Champa (kampuchea). Namun dalam batas tertentu memiliki distingsi tersendiri. Namun istilah tersebut menemukan momentum puncak saat terjadinya Muktamar di Jombang.
Urf islam Nusantara memiliki empat pendekatan yang menjadi pilar terpenting berkembangnya Islam Nusantara. Adaptasi, Netralisasi, Minimalisasi, dan Amputasi.
Konsep tersebut seperti hirarki berurutan untuk memudahkan melihat kebiasaan yang sudah dilakukan di Indonesia bertentangan atau tidak dengan syari‟ah. Istilah tersebut diadopsi dari teori sosiologi.
