Updates on Editorial Policies and Quality Standards of Eco-Entrepreneur (Effective 2026)

Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers of the Eco-Entrepreneur,

Driven by our continuous commitment to elevating the quality of scholarly communication, upholding rigorous academic integrity, and aligning with international best practices in scientific publishing, the editorial board of the Eco-Entrepreneur Journal is implementing several key updates to our editorial policies and peer-review systems.

These updates aim to provide a more professional, transparent, and impactful publication platform for our global academic community.

The following key adjustments will be strictly effective starting from our 2026 publications:

1. Enhanced Manuscript Evaluation System We have redesigned our Manuscript Evaluation Form to be more structured and comprehensive. The peer-review process now includes a detailed assessment of 10 core indicators of a scientific article, ensuring authors receive more specific, objective, and constructive feedback.

2. Stricter Editorial Screening (Pre-Review) Prior to the peer-review stage, the Editorial Team will conduct a rigorous initial administrative screening. Manuscripts failing to meet the following criteria will be promptly returned (Decline/Resubmit):

  • 100% alignment with the journal's Focus and Scope.

  • Mandatory use of Reference Management Software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero).

  • Acceptable similarity index (Plagiarism Check via Turnitin) strictly adhering to our established threshold.

  • Strict compliance with the Journal Template and the IMRAD structure.

3. Expansion of the Editorial Board and Reviewer Pool To maintain objectivity and broaden our global perspective, we are actively expanding our network by inviting subject-matter experts, reviewers, and editorial board members from various reputable universities and institutions worldwide.

4. Updated Author Guidelines Emphasizing strong scientific novelty, our Author Guidelines will be updated to require the use of primary references (reputable journal articles) published within the last 10 years, which must constitute at least 80% of the total bibliography.

Implementation Timeline: These policies will be fully effective for all manuscripts submitted and scheduled for publication starting from Volume 12, Issue 1, 2026. Manuscripts currently undergoing the review or copyediting process will follow our transitional standards.

We believe that elevating these standards will not only enhance the reputation of the Eco-Entrepreneur Journal but also directly increase the citation and global visibility of our authors' work.

Thank you for your continuous trust and outstanding contributions to our journal. Together, let us advance research and scientific literacy in the fields of Economics, Business, and Entrepreneurship.

Sincerely,
