Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat Melalui Program Micro Finance Program (MFP) Dalam Meningkatkan Ekonomi Mustahik Pada Upz Baznas Petrokimia Gresik

Abstract

Indonesia, the potential for employment opportunities, especially in urban areas, is very limited, resulting in unemployment which has a negative impact on the economic development of the community, one of which is in Gresik Regency which has a fairly large percentage of poverty. Seeing this, UPZ Baznas Petrokimia Gresik initiated a Micro finance program by implementing community empowerment. The purpose of this study is to help the lower economic community from poverty by providing assistance and business management, so as to improve the mustahik economy.This type of research uses qualitative analysis with a descriptive approach where the objects in this study are UPZ employees of the distribution team and mustahik assisted by UPZ. This approach prioritizes disseminating information as deeply as possible by using primary data obtained directly through interviews, later data obtained from several sources is then selected, described, presented and drawn conclusions. While secondary data obtained by researchers, namely from documentation, books, journals, and other media.The results show that empowerment at UPZ Baznas Petrokimia Gresik provides in nominal terms, goods, business tools and socialization and has significant progress in improving the mustahik economy, namely the creation of jobs for mustahik, business assistance for mustahik so that mustahik are able to improve their economy and create mustahik who are empowered and can become muzzaki.
