HUBUNGAN PANJANG BERAT LORJUK (Solen spp) DI PERAIRAN PESISIR PANTAI SELATAN PULAU MADURA
Abstract
Kerang pisau atau Lorjuk (Solen spp) merupakan komoditas unggulan dan mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi di wilayah pesisir selatan Pulau Madura, sehingga tingkat ekploitasinya tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang berat Lorjuk (Solen spp) pada daerah tangkapan perairan pesisir pantai selatan pulau Madura. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di daerah penangkapan pada 4 Kabupaten di wilayah Pulau Madura dengan pengambilan sampel tiap bulan mulai Juli-Oktober 2013 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel secara random sampling dengan mengukur panjang berat tiap Lorjuk sebanyak 150 ekor tiap lokasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan panjang berat allometrik negatif dengan nilai b berkisar 0,269 – 2.305 dengan R2 sebesar 0,012-0,934. Perbedaan nilai konstanta dan koefisien determinasi ini dipengaruhi oleh besarnya penangkapan yang dilakukan oleh nelayan.

LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP OF LORJUK (Solen spp) IN THE COASTAL WATERS OF SOUTH BEACH OF MADURA ISLAND
ABSTRACT
Knife shellfish or Lorjuk (Solen spp) is a leading commodity and has high economic value in the coastal region south of the island of Madura, so that the high-level of exploitation. This study aims to determine the length-weight relationship of Lorjuk (Solen spp) in the catchment areas of coastal waters of south coast of the island of Madura. This research was conducted in the fishing area on the 4th District in Madura Island region with sampling every month starting from July to October, 2013 by using descriptive method. Random sampling was conducted by measuring the length-weight of each Lorjuk as much as 150 animals from each location. The results showed negative allometric length-weight relationship with the value of b ranges from 0.269 to 2305 with R2 of 0.012 to 0.934. The difference of the constant and the coefficient of determination is influenced by the amount of catch by fishermen.
